GB Studio Aseprite Palettes
A downloadable asset pack
🎨
Every color you need to create asset files, as a single extension!
These are the colors GB Studio 4.x uses when interpreting PNG files as sprites, tiles, and fonts.
The official GB Studio site provides these palettes as a binary .aseprite
palette file, but this collection is an Aseprite extension. This is easier to use in my workflow and might be easier to use in yours as well.
These files are in the public domain. This collection is provided as a convenience for the community. You can also get these as Git repository on GitHub.
Note: These are not colors that your game will display! These are the colors your asset files must use to be added to a project.
The following palettes are included:
- Backgrounds (UI assets also use this format.)
- Fonts
- Sprites
- All (The superset of the other three palettes.)
The following colors are included:
- `#071821`
- `#306850` (Not valid in sprite asset files.)
- `#86c06c`
- `#e0f8cf`
- `#65ff00` (Valid in sprite asset files only.)
- `#ff00ff` (Valid in variable width font asset files only.)
